The last couple of years I’ve noticed something shocking as I look into the mirror. What? Is that? Can it be …a wrinkle? I was warned this would happen. I was told it was inevitable. While I can’t go back and start wearing moisturizer and eye cream I can look for products that help reverse and diminish those pesky lines. And that’s exactly what I was doing when I stumbled upon the many benefits of grape seed oil.
Grape seed oil is rich in an ingredient called oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPC). The name is not important but what it does is. OPC removes free radicals and promotes the restoration of collagen within the cells. After pro-longed use your skin should look firmer and fresher.
Since using this oil I’ve noticed several things happen. 1. My skin is clearer. Grape seed oil does not clog pores and is full of nutrients your skin craves. And 2. My “fine lines” (nothing fine about them) appear smoother.
I also use the oil at night to get the greatest benefit because that’s when your body heals itself. Beauty sleep is real. And since it’s a light oil grape seed oil will also absorb into your skin quickly, leaving no greasy residue.
The beauty industry knows how powerful grape seed oil is too. This $55 1oz bottle of overnight recovery oil from Caudalie is made up of mostly grape seed oil, jojoba oil and rose essential oil.
You could pay that. Or you could buy your own 16oz grape seed oil from Amazon for $8 and Jojoba oil for $10 and reap the same benefits. (More on jojoba oil later.)
Grape seed oil is inexpensive, contains no chemicals and is effective. Try it out and after you do, come back and let me know what you think in the comments below!
